The electronic scientific and practical journal Personality: Resources and Potential is an open access online resource.
Founder: Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration” (RANEPA).

Publisher: the Faculty of Evaluation and Development of Managerial Human Resources of the Institute " Graduate School of Public Administration" of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration” (FEDMHR, GSPM, RANEPA). The journal was founded in 2019.

The journal is registered with the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media: El No. FS77-73 391 dated August 03, 2018. Frequency of publication: 4 issues per year. Articles are published in Russian and English.

The journal is designed to discuss topical theoretical, methodological and practical issues related to the place and role of an individual in the political, economic, spiritual, cultural life of society, including in management systems, as well as with directions, methods and trends in the development of personal resources and potential at different stages of life and in various spheres of life, primarily, in the professional sphere.

The journal welcomes discussion materials, and its content does not necessarily reflect the ideas of the founder or the Editorial Board.
The Editorial Board sees the journal's mission as an open platform for Russian and foreign scientists and practitioners to exchange information in the field of personality research and personal development in various social spheres, as well as information and methodological support for authors, editors, readers, scientific societies, other interested persons and organizations involved in the publishing process.

The journal is intended for psychologists, sociologists, economists, managers, HR representatives and anyone interested in achievements in various areas of personality research and the development of personal resources and potential.

Authentic, previously unpublished scientific, methodological, review articles, reports on scientific events, reviews of scientific publications on the following topics are accepted for publication in the Journal:

  • personality as a subject of social life;
  • personality as an object and subject of education;
  • personality as an object and subject of management;

  • socio-cultural, psychological, organizational factors of formation and development of personal resources and potential;
  • value and semantic factors of effective and productive human activity in various social spheres;
  • value and semantic foundations of personal and professional development;
  • competence-based and resource-based approaches to the formation and development of personal potential;
  • technologies for diagnostics, assessment and development of resources and potential of experts in various professional fields;
  • modern personnel technologies of selection, recruitment, placement and promotion of personnel;
  • professional training, development and psychological support of personnel;
  • influence of the peculiarities of the human cognitive sphere on the ability to perform professional tasks;
  • cognitive factors of management decision effectiveness;

  • trajectories of personal and professional development of representatives of different professions;

  • psychological patterns of adult personality development in the context of lifelong learning, training, postgraduate training and retraining.
This list is not exhaustive and can be expanded.

The journal is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) system and is presented on the E-library Scientific Electronic Library for registered users.
The journal supports the open access concept.

Articles are published in electronic format in Russian with an abstract, keywords and a reference list and authors' information in English; and in English if there is a detailed abstract in Russian.
The materials submitted to the journal are subject to mandatory peer reviewing. The review is a double blind peer review.
The procedure for rejecting, reviewing and processing articles and resolving issues arising in the event of a conflict of interest is subject to the provisions of the publication ethics adopted by the journal.

The manuscript may be rejected at the pre-review stage. The reasons for rejecting an article before peer reviewing may be: inconsistency of the subject matter of the article with the specialization of the journal, violation by the author(s) of the requirements for registration and submission of the article to the journal, the presence of plagiarism, obvious low scientific quality of the article, previous (early) publication of the article (or its fragments) in another journal, etc. The author(s) will be notified of the reasons for the rejection of their article.
