The article examines the influence of the digital trap phenomenon on the intellectual and professional activities of managers at the organizational level. The author’s interpretation of the digital trap as one of the effects of digitalization is presented. The genesis and essential characteristics of the digital trap for the manager are substantiated at the theoretical level. The consequences of its influence on the content of intellectual activity (using the example of the process of making management decisions) and the transformation of professional (managerial) activity are determined. A comparative analysis of the content of the intellectual and professional activity of the manager before and after the impact of the digital trap is carried out.
