The article analyzes the issues of the relationship between mentoring and management culture. The main content of the study is an analysis of the views of researchers of the problem and the results of the Russian practice of implementing a mentoring system. According to the results of the study, it is concluded that today mentoring is considered not only as a process of knowledge transfer, but also as an element of the management culture by mastering the norms of behavior and values of the mentor and achieving the management goals of the two sides. The theoretical significance of the work lies in determining the place of mentoring in managerial culture, the practical significance is determined by the possibility of using the recommendations proposed by the author in various fields of activity and sectors of the economy.
